Daly Bay Illuminate market stall application

Vendor applications are now open for Daly Bay Illuminate 2024.

Event: Daly Bay Illuminate 2024 (this event is part of the Mackay Festival of Arts)
Event Dates: Thursday, August 1 to Sunday, August 4, 2024
Event Time: 6pm – 9pm (each night)

Daly Bay Illuminate will run for four nights, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th of August 2024. All vendors must be available for all four nights. Once the vehicle/truck/trailer/marquee has bumped in on the morning of the Thursday 1st August it must remain on sight until bump out on the evening of Sunday 4th August. *
Site type: * *Please note, no vehicles are permitted on site during the event.
Site choices: * *Please note, if you are larger than 6m in length, there is an additional charge per metre of $25. Please tick one of the "other" options. If you are larger than 3m in width, please contact festival@mackay.qld.gov.au to discuss.
*Remember to include your tow bar and/or steps when measuring as we need to ensure we allocate enough space for you and all other vendors/experiences within the event area
Are you selling food? *
Please note: Your food licence must be up to date. This is for any food vendor and/or market stall selling edible products. If you are unsure, please contact festival@mackay.qld.gov.au.
Please list ALL of the items you intend to plug in and how many AMPS each one requires. For example; 1 x trailer power connection – 1 x 3 phase or 1 x 15 AMP You will ONLY be supplied with the requirements you list on this form. There will be no extra outlets on the day. If you require more than the four outlets provided with your site fee, please advise at time of application. Additional outlets will be $25 per outlet. You must supply your own leads, and they MUST be tested and tagged.
Car permits: * Each vendor will receive 1 car pass only. This can only be used during allocated bump in and bump out times
Please note: Your insurance policy must be up to date with a minimum of $20,000,000 indemnities. If you are unsure, please contact festival@mackay.qld.gov.au.
I declare that I am willing to abide by the Mackay Regional Council Guideline for the Establishment of a Temporary Food Premises and the Food Act 2006 (see below). *
I declare that I understand this event will operate under the current electrical standard AS/NZS 3002:2021 (Electrical installations - shows, carnivals, and events) and will ensure I have the correct equipment as per these regulatory requirements (see below). * Please be advised that our team will assist with any questions where possible in relation to this standard.
