A department of the Mackay Entertainment & Convention Centre (a business unit of Mackay Regional Council), Mackay Festivals brings a range of exciting large-scale events to the local Mackay community.

These events are spread across the year, and celebrate local community, art, music, food and cultural diversity.

Annual events include:
The Mackay Festival of Arts (whole month of July)
Global Grooves (October)
The New Years Eve River Party (31st December)
