Fitzgerald Spectacular 2026

Next date: Wednesday, 04 November 2026 | 06:00 PM to 07:30 PM

Fitzgerald State School is proud to present their 43rd annual “Spectacular” concert. Two nights of Arts entertainment featuring dance and drama.

On night one, our Prep, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 students will take you on adventures into space, remind you of your favourite season, find your inner monster and present a mash up of musicals! Also featured are our Cultural Arts in Dance Program students and our Wakakirri students.

On night two, the older students will showcase their drama and dance skills with our Drama Group and Wakakirri Story Dance teams. Years 4 and 5 will entertain you with energetic and entertaining performances.

Our Year 6 students will present ‘The Rats of Hamelin’. The town of Hamelin is fed up with the current Mayor and are looking to elect a new one. Unfortunately, Mayor Pratt and his crooked councillors won’t go without a fight. Nearby in the sewers, the rats are struggling to find food to survive, so they decide to go into Hamelin to find some and in the process cause chaos wherever they go. Will the rats be able to find the food supply they need? Will the town elect a new Mayor? They may just need some unlikely heroes to step up and find a way to make everyone work together!

Come along and support these wonderful students as they perform for you!
