Straddling the Bruce Highway, Mackay has excellent road connections to all key Queensland regional centres. Queensland Railways’ ‘Spirit of Queensland’ train also offers an alternative mode of transport for delegates from nearby regional areas, on its regular coastline trip from Cairns to Brisbane.
