Let’s meet up for Wisely Wine and Food Day!

Set in the beautiful North Queensland winter, enjoy a relaxing day filled with wine, food, and amazing music.

Together with an array of restaurants, cafes, and festival food trucks, the community bars will be showcasing a handpicked collection of sought-after wines, beer, and foodie delights.

*This is a fully licensed event, strictly no BYO and ID required for purchase of alcohol.

Do I need a ticket? Is it free? This is a FREE non-ticketed event.
Can I BYO alcohol? No BYO as this is a licenced event.
Can I bring my own food? Yes, you can bring your own food that is in non-commercial packaging.
Will there be seating? There will be some seating available.
Can I bring a chair or picnic blanket? Yes. Please be mindful of those surrounding you when you set up your chairs.
Can I bring a shade umbrella or a marquee? No. As this will block the view of those surrounding you we ask you please do not bring any shade umbrellas or marquees.
If it’s raining, will it still be on? Stay informed on all announcements via our website and social pages.
Are there age restrictions? No, this is an all-ages event.
Can I bring my dog? Will the dog park be open at the same time? There are no dogs allowed in the event space.
Will the playground facilities be open during the event? Can I use the bbq’s during the event? Yes the playgrounds are open, all amenities are still available throughout the park.
Where do I park? Is it fenced? This event is fenced with three entry points. Follow the concreted paths and you will find them, they are:
1. East Gordan Street
2. Goldsmith Street
3. Shakespeare Street
Scooters/bikes/roller blades/prams – are these available to hire? No.
Is it wheelchair accessible? Are there designated disabled parks around? Yes, the park is wheelchair accessible and there are accessible parks near each entry. Please see the map for further details.
Are buses running to and from the event? No
What should I bring? It would be a good idea to bring mosquito spray, sunscreen, a shady hat, a form of identification if you are planning on drinking alcohol.
When is the Oasis open? 11.30am to 5.30pm
What is on the menu for the Oasis?

  • Sushi grazing board
  • Cheese, deli meats, pickled and chargrilled vegetables grazing board
  • Pork Gyozas
  • Braised barbeque Quesadillas
  • Thai Chicken Fried Rice Pots
  • Samosas with spiced cumin honey yoghurt
  • Sliders with beef brisket and house slaw
  • Crusty bread, dips, cheeses, fruits and sweets grazing board

How will I keep the kids entertained? There is an amusement area with plenty of rides to keep them entertained for the day!
Is there ATM facilities available? Yes
Are EFTPOS facilities available? Most of our vendors will have EFTPOS facilities, this include the licensed bar.
Will there be stubby coolers available for purchase? Yes! Grab a Festival branded stubby cooler from the bars. Hurry, stock is limited.
