Loading, unloading and drop off zones

Access to load and unload is via Alfred Street. Simply turn into Macalister Street and reverse park onto the loading dock.Vehicles will need to provide notice of acquiring access, please contact our Production Services Coordinator on +617 4961 9715 prior to arriving to arrange.The centre has two designated drop-off zones located in Alfred Street, please see map.

Carparking

The centre has two designated carparks on Alfred Street and one on Macalister Street. There is ample street parking in nearby streets, however patrons must be aware that on-street parking includes a mix of restricted and non-restricted parking. Please check sign conditions for the duration of your stay.

Accessibility

Accessible Entrances 
MECC has accessible entrances to main areas by means of a ramp. We also have a specifically designed lift to assist delegates to a stage for conferencing where required.

Accessible seating requirements (eg. wheelchair access, hearing difficulties, companion animals)
Please call the Box Office on +617 4961 9777 to let us know the specific seating arrangements you require, and we will endeavour to accommodate your needs and seating requests. Accessible seating cannot be booked online.

Accessible toilet facilities are located in each of the main areas of the building – please see map above.

Companion Cards
Companion Card holders are entitled to a complimentary companion ticket to all performances. The cardholder must provide their Companion Card details when making bookings and present the valid ID card to receive their ticket/s from the Box Office. To access this program, please contact the box office on +617 4961 9777 or visit us in person.

Hearing Receivers - Entertainment Centre Auditorium (North Side)
Hearing receivers are available to use from the Box Office. Register at the Box Office before the event.

Hearing Loop - Convention Centre / Plenary Halls or Meeting Rooms (South Side)
A Hearing Loop T-Switch is available, just set your hearing device to the Telecoil Program. If you are experiencing any issues, please visit the box office.
